AMMEGA’s Ammeraal Beltech Heads to Pizza Expo Columbus with Partner Regal MFG. to Showcase Its Most Complete Belting Portfolio Yet

Fresh off a major brand simplification, the conveyor belting leader brings plastic modular belts, chains, and synthetic belting built for pizza production to the Greater Columbus Convention Center this October.

COLUMBUS, OHIO — AMMEGA Group, through its conveyor belting brand Ammeraal Beltech, is heading to Pizza Expo Columbus this October, joining forces with partner Regal MFG. to give pizzeria owners, operators, and manufacturers across the Midwest a firsthand look at the belting technology running behind the scenes of the pizza industry’s busiest production lines. The show runs October 11–12, 2026, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

The appearance comes just months after Ammeraal Beltech announced a major simplification of its brand portfolio. In June 2026, the company revealed it was integrating Chemprene, Uni, and Green Belting under the single Ammeraal Beltech name — bringing synthetic belting, modular belting, modular chains, lightweight rubber belting, and PTFE and silicone-coated solutions together into one unified resource. With that move, Ammeraal Beltech’s integrated portfolio now spans 10 product categories, giving food and beverage manufacturers access to what is now considered one of the most complete belting portfolios in the market — all through a single point of contact.

“The expanded portfolio helps ensure we can support our customers end to end for any need,” says Stacy Bashline, Conveyor Product Director at AMMEGA. “Most of what we’re bringing to Pizza Expo Columbus is produced right here in the U.S. — our synthetic belts in Buford, Georgia, and our modular belts and chains in Reading, Pennsylvania — so pizza producers get the complete portfolio and the local supply they can count on.”

That expanded portfolio is exactly what pizza producers will see on display at Pizza Expo Columbus. Ammeraal Beltech’s team will spotlight three solution areas engineered for the specific demands of pizza production — from dough handling through the oven and into packaging.

1. Modular Belts

For the spiral conveyors that handle cooling, freezing, proofing, and drying of pizza dough and crusts, Ammeraal Beltech is spotlighting the uni Flex L-OSB DD — a Direct Drive System belt engineered for smooth engagement and reduced drive issues in continuous, high-load spiral applications.

  • Continuous operational performance under sustained load, keeping spiral systems running through nonstop production cycles.
  • Hygienic, open design built for washdown environments, standing up to the daily sanitation pizza production requires.
  • Lower total operating cost through reduced downtime and maintenance, versus belting prone to wear and stretch.

The lineup extends further with additional uni belts suited to other stages of the line: uni ITB, built for heavy loads in abrasive environments with a closed flat top that minimizes spillage and improves wear resistance, and uni Flex ASB HDE, engineered for heavy-duty loads beyond standard Flex ASB applications.

2. Synthetic Belts

Duratemp, Ammeraal Beltech’s heat-resistant synthetic belt, is purpose-designed for pizza and tortilla ovens, holding up at sustained temperatures of 115°C with spikes to 130°C. Ropanyl rounds out the line with a homogenous polyurethane construction, built for sauce, cheese, and topping application, and packaging lines that see aggressive washdown.

  • Consistent bake quality, thanks to a matte top cover engineered to resist the browning effect at the oven outfeed better than standard synthetic belts.
  • Built-in hygiene, with Ropanyl’s exceptionally cleanable, non-porous matte finish that resists bacteria harborage and cleans down fast between shifts.

3. Chains & Components

Where pizza lines call for the strength and heat tolerance of steel — oven infeed and outfeed, heavier tray and pan handling — Ammeraal Beltech’s uni 802, 812, 815, and 881 slat top stainless steel chains work alongside the plastic modular lineup.

  • Built to handle heavier loads and higher heat than plastic chains, right where ovens and pan handling demand it.
  • Corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction, in ferritic and austenitic grades across the series, built for washdown and daily sanitation.
  • Slat-top design provides stable, hygienic product transport while benefiting from steel’s durability and long service life.

All three solution areas share the same backbone: local U.S. manufacturing. Ropanyl is produced at Ammeraal Beltech’s Buford, Georgia facility, while most of the uni modular belts and chains are molded, assembled, and stocked at the company’s Reading, Pennsylvania facility. For pizza producers, that combination means shorter lead times, reliable availability, and belting support that’s never far from home.

That local footprint is central to what AMMEGA brings to Pizza Expo Columbus. By manufacturing its conveyor solutions in Buford, Georgia and Reading, Pennsylvania, the company supports American jobs while giving pizza producers the fast turnaround and dependable supply that comes from production close to home.

It’s a simple promise: to be your local partner of choice in the Americas.
